On-demand makes sense when

Tradeoff: highest rate, no priority scheduling, no rollover.
Retainer makes sense when
- You have monthly work, even if it varies
- You want priority over project-based clients
- You want a predictable monthly cost
- The lower effective rate matters at your hour volume
Tradeoff: monthly commitment, but a lower rate plus rollover protect you on slow months.

Lever 1: Bundle other services with us
If we already manage your site or host it, we have your environment, credentials, and recent context loaded. New requests start faster, so the rate reflects that.
- No other services: base rate
- + Web Management: 10% off
- + Hosting + Management: 15% off
Lever 2: Move to a retainer
A monthly block of hours at a guaranteed rate, with priority scheduling. Predictable for you, easier for us to plan around - so the rate drops further.
- On-demand: pay per hour as needed
- Retainer: additional savings on top of any bundle discount
- Unused hours roll over up to 2 months
Crossover math
At the standalone tier (no bundle), on-demand is $150/hr and retainer is $120/hr - a $30/hr difference. The Starter retainer block (8 hrs) gives you priority and rollover on top. If you're using more than ~6-7 hours most months, retainer is the better deal.
